I would suggest if you have left over ham use that, and if you can't have it in slices just put chunks of it on top of the chicken.  Other than that, buy nice quality ham slices at your local deli.

  • 12 halves chicken breast, boned and skinned
  • 0.25 pound(s) margarine
  • 12 slices ham
  • 1 cup(s) mushrooms
  • 1 can(s) (10 1/2 ounce) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can(s) (10 1/2 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup(s) white wine
  • 1 teaspoon(s) poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon(s) thyme
  • 1 teaspoon(s) sage
  • 1 teaspoon(s) paprik
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Tabasco
  • minced parsley

Chicken Rosalie Directions

  1. Saute' chicken breasts lightly in margarine.  
  2. Place each on a ham slice in a 9 x 12-inch greased baking dish.  
  3. In same skillet used for browning chicken, saute' mushrooms.  
  4. Add remaining ingredients, mix well and spoon over chicken and ham.  Sprinkle with parsley and bake at 275 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
