Of all the jambalaya recipes I have made or read about none of them used steak as one of the ingredients. This recipe looks good, so if you have any steak laying around try it.

  • 3 chicken breasts, sliced thin
  • 2 cup(s) hot cooked rice
  • 2 cube steaks, sliced thin
  • 1 boudin sausage (or hot italian sausage)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Cajun/Creole seasoning
  • 0.5 cup(s) soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup(s) Tabasco (or your favorite hot sauce)
  • 1 seeded cayenne pepper
  • 1 whole bell pepper (red or green)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato

3 Meat Jambalaya Directions

  1. Slice chicken and steaks thin as you can get them.
  2. Cut up sausages add seasoning and the hot sauce and add the soy sauce.
  3. Let marinade 6-8 hours cook the meats add the peppers then theonion. 
  4. Add the rice when the vegetables become transluscent.
