  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup(s) chopped onions
  • 0.5 cup(s) chopped green peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 quart(s) water
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Louisiana hot sauce
  • 4 cleaned crabs, quartered
  • 2 pound(s) peeled shrimp
  • 2 dozen oysters
  • 1 pound(s) smoked bite-sized sausage
  • 0.5 cup(s) chopped chicken gizzards

Buster's Famous Creole Gumbo Directions

  1. In a large pot sauté vegetables in margarine. Add all ingredients except seafood.
  2. Make roux and add to desired thickness. Cook one hour.
  3. Add seafood. Cook 30 minutes. Serve over rice with a dash of filé.
