Breaded Veal

I've never cooked with veal at all. I've eaten it and found it quite tasty.

Recipe

  • Veal cutlets or round
  • 1 egg
  • bread or cracker crumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 very thin garlic slices (optional)
  • butter (enough to brown)

Breaded Veal Directions

  1. Cut gristle and other skin from veal.  If rounds are used, cut into pieces for individual servings.
  2. Beat egg in plate; add garlic, salt and pepper.  Dip meat in egg, covering both sides well.  Then coat each piece with crumbs and fry in hot fat to a golden brown.  
  3. Drain on absorbent paper and serve.
