I wouldn't change a thing on this one.  This really looks good. Just looking at it I gain complete and total cream puff cake satisfaction. Also, a few extra pounds.

  • 0.5 cup(s) butter
  • 1 cup(s) water
  • 1 cup(s) all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cup(s) milk
  • 3 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix, 3 oz each
  • 1 pint(s) cream, whipped
  • chocolate syrup

Cream Puff Cake Directions

  1. Melt butter in water. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, until it forms a ball.
  2. Turn into a bowl and beat in eggs one at a time, beating well between each.
  3. Spread flat on a 9" x 13" greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  4. Cool. Mix together cream cheese and milk and beat until smooth. Add instant pudding, one package at a time. Spread over cooled shell. 
  5. Top with whipped cream and drizzle chocolate syrup on top. Chill at least one hour before serving.
