Bourbon Chicken

Have fun with this recipe.  When you add your half cup of Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey, have a sip for yourself.

For 4 people ()


  • 1 pound(s) chicken leg or thigh meat, cut into bite sized chunks
  • 4 ounce(s) soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) powdered ginger
  • 2 tablespoon(s) dried, minced onion
  • 0.5 cup(s) Jim Beam Boubon Whiskey
  • 2 tablespoon(s) white wine

Bourbon Chicken Directions

  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients and pour over chicken pieces in a bowl.
  2. Cover and refrigerate (stirring often) for several hours (best overnight).
  3. Bake chicken at 350 for one hour in a single layer, basting every 10 minutes. Remove chicken. Scrape pan juices with all the brown bits into a frying pan.
  4. Heat, and add 2 Tbs. white wine. Stir and add chicken.
  5. Cook for 1 minute and serve.
